This is a great looking Vintage Taxco Mexico Mexican Sterling Silver crushed Turquoise or maybe its dyed blue onyx Cuff Bracelet measuring approx. 5" measuring from the inside and not including the open area which measures approx. 1 1/2", and X a little over 1/2" at its widest, and marked 925 which is STERLING SILVER, and also marked MEXICO, and also marked TC-79, the T stands for TAXCO, the C stands for the first letter of the last name of the artist, and the number 79 indicates that this artist was the 79th person in TAXCO to register as a Silversmith with the last name beginning with the letter C. Great looking Bracelet!
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.
Please check out my other items. PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT Relist eBay Item (s)!
Please NOTE, I do not clean any of the jewelry as some collectors prefer to leave the original patina on the piece.
Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
