This is a great Vintage Southwest Southwestern Sterling Silver and Malachite Ring measuring approx. 5/8" at its widest, and is marked 925 which is STERLING SILVER and is also marked MEXICO, and is also marked TM-72, the T stands for TAXCO, the M for the first letter in the last name of the artist, and the number 72 indicates that this artist was the 72nd person to register as a Silversmith in TAXCO. Size is 6 1/2. Nice Ring!
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
