This is a great Vintage Mexican Mexico Taxco Sterling Silver Cactus Brooch / Pendant measuring approx. 2" X 1 1/2", and marked 925 which is STERLING SILVER and is also marked MEXICO, and is also marked TS-01. The T stands for TAXCO, the S for the first letter in the last name of the Artist, and the number 01 indicates that this artist was the 01 person to register as a Silversmith in Taxco with a last name beginning with an S. Clasp works fine. Great looking Brooch!
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
