This is a great looking Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Heart Pendant & 18" Chain, that measures approx. 1" X 1" (Heart only), and is marked MEXICO, and 925 which is STERLING SILVER and is also marked TD-88, the T stands for Taxco, and the D is the first letter of the last name of the artist, and the number 88 indicates that this was the 88th person in Taxco with a last name beginning with D to register as a Silversmith in Taxco. Weighs approx. 20 grams. Great looking Pendant / Chain!
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
