These are a great pair of Vintage Mexican Taxco Sterling Silver Heart Clip on Earrings. These measure approx. 1 1/2" X 1 1/4" at their widest. These are marked 925, which is STERLING SILVER, and are also marked MEXICO, and are also marked TF-32 the T stands for TAXCO, the F is the first initial of the last name of the Artist, and the number 32 means that the artist was the 32nd person to register in Taxco with the first letter of the last name being the same. Clip ons Work Fine. Very beautiful handmade earrings.
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
