Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Boy Girl Earrings

$18.99

These are a great pair of Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Pierced Earrings, measuring approx. 1" X 3/4".    These are marked 925, which stands for STERLING SILVER, and are also marked MEXICO, and are also marked TH-53, the T stands for TAXCO, and the H is the first letter of the last name of the artist, and the 53 means that the artist was the 53rd person with that first letter of the last name that registered in TAXCO.    This is a very heavy bracelet weighing approx. 37.2 grams.    Stones are most likely dyed blue onyx.   Very nice high quality collectible earrings.   Clip ons work fine.

Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Please NOTE, I do not clean any of the jewelry as some collectors prefer to leave the original patina on the piece.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces.    Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
