These are a great pair of Vintage Taxco Southwest Southwestern Sterling Silver Conch Pierced Earrings, measuring approx. 1 5/8", and although not marked, I will guarantee that these are STERLING SILVER. Great looking pair of earrings!
Please NOTE, I do not clean any of the jewelry as some collectors prefer to leave the original patina on the piece.
Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
All my jewelry items are packed inside a small pastic bag placed inside a small box which is then placed inside a bubble envelope. Sometimes this packing will differ, but normally it is as described.
