This is a Strange Vintage Peru / Austria Sterling Silver Stubborn Llama being pulled by a Man Brooch. The LLama measures approx. 1" X 1 1/4", and although not marked, I will guarantee that this is STERLING SILVER. The Man measures approx. 1 1/2" X 7/8", and is marked 925 which is STERLING SILVER and also marked AUSTRIA and some other writing that I can't make out, sorry best pics I can get! Clasp works fine. This a great looking brooch!

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
