This is an outstanding sgined Vintage Sterling Silver & Malachite Clamper Cuff Bracelet measuring approx. 7 1/4" measuring from the inside, and just a tad over 3 at its widest. This is marked 925, which stands for STERLING SILVER, and is also marked MEXICO, and is also marked what I think is TS-49, the T stands for TAXCO, and the S is the first letter of the last name of the artist, and the 49 means that the artist was the 49th person with that first letter of the last name that registered in TAXCO, sorry, best photo I can get of the marks. This is a very heavy bracelet weighing approx. 59.9 grams. Stones are Malachite. Clamper works great! Very nice high quality collectible piece.
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age.
Photos constitute part of the description!
I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.
Please check out my other items.
Please NOTE, I do not clean any of the jewelry as some collectors prefer to leave the original patina on the piece.
Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
