This is a great Vintage Mexican Taxco Sterling Silver Heart Pendant measuring approx. 1 3/4" X 1 1/2" at its widest and not including teh bale, and is marked marked 925 which is Sterling Silver, and is also marked MEXICO and is also marked TM-10, the T stands for TAXCO, the M for the first letter in the last name of the artist, and the number 10 indicates that this artist was the 10th person in Taxco to register with the last name beginning with the letter M. Clasp works fine. This weighs approx. 20 grams. Great looking Pendant!
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
