This is a great looking Deco / Edwardian Gold Tone Initial
Locket measuring approx. 1 1/8", and has a makers mark inside, please
see photos, looks like S & B.L. Co., which stands for S & B.
Lederer Company which was in business in the early part of the last
century. Catch works well. Initials look to me like CHN, but can't
tell for sure. Nice Locket, but with a little wear on the sides,
please see photos.
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
