These are a great pair of Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver and Malachite Clip On Earrings measuring approx. 1 3/8" X 7/8" at their widest, and are marked HUECHO EN MEXICO, and also marked 925 which stands for STERLING SILVER, and also marked TC-25, the T stands for Taxco, the C for the first letter of the last name of the artist, and the number 25 indicates that this was the 25th person to register as a Silversmith in Taxco. Clip ons work great! Absolutely outstanding Earrings!
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
