Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver & Blue Onyx Pendant

$18.99

Availability: 1 In Stock

This is a great Signed Vintage Sterling Silver & Blue Onyx (perhaps dyed) or perhaps Lapis, I do not know for sure, Pendant, measuring approx. 7/8", not including the bale.    This is marked 925, which stands for STERLING SILVER, and is also marked MEXICO, and is also marked TR-102, the T stands for TAXCO, the R stands for the first letter in the last name of the Artist, and the 102 indicates that this artist was the 102nd person with a last name beginning with R to register as a Silversmith in TAXCO.      Very nice high quality collectible piece.

Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Please check out my other items.

Please NOTE, I do not clean any of the jewelry as some collectors prefer to leave the original patina on the piece.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces.    Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
