Pictures may not do this ring justice. It is a beautiful Vintage Sterling Silver & Amythest ring. This is a size 6 1/2, and the top measures approx. 1/2" at its widest. This is marked 925, which is STERLING SILVER, and is 2 tone in color. There is a wonderful little cross worked into the design on this ring, please see the featured Photo, No. 1. Very nice high quality collectible piece.
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
