This is a great Wonderful Sterling Silver Cat with Ruby Eyes & Ribbon Brooch measuring approx. 1 3/4" X 1" at its widest, and is 925 which is STERLING SILVER. She / he needs a good home (too early to tell), will you adopt her / him? Weighs approx. 12 grams. Clasp works fine! Of course, her eyes aren't really rubies, but they look it! Great looking Brooch.
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 900 parts to 1000, ie 900/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
