These are a great pair of Signed Vintage Southwest Southwestern Sterling Silver Two Tone Wolf Howling at the Moon Pierced Earrings measuring approx. 1 3/4" X 1 1/4" at their widest, and marked STERLING and have a bird on a limb, and are also marked BEN G. CHAVEZ. There is a Ben Chavez listed in the "Hallmarks of the Southwest", but I do not know if this is the same person or not. Great looking pair of earrings!
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
