This is a wonderful Signed Sterling Silver Blue Enameled Snake Necklace, Bracelet & Earrings. The necklace measures approx. 17 1/2" X 1" at its widest, and is marked with an intertwined JF, and is also marked 925 which is STERLING SILVER, and is also marked TF-08, the T stands for TAXCO, the F for the first letter of the last name of the artist, the 08 indicates that this person was the 8th person in TAXCO with the last name beginning with the letter F to register as a silversmith. Necklace weighs approx. 62 grams. The bracelet measures approx. 6 1/2", and has the same markings as the bracelet, and weighs approx. 41 grams. The earrings measure approx. 2 1/8" X 1", and are marked MEXICO, 925, TF-08, and weigh approx. 17 grams. Total weight of this set is approx. 120 grams. No damage to the enamel or silver. Clasp (s) all work fine, as do the screw backs. Absolutely fantastic piece done in the tradition of Margot de Taxco.
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
