This is a great looking Vintage Sterling Silver Flower Petal Necklace measuring approx. 16" X 5/8" at its widest and is marked 830S meaning that 830 parts to 1000 of this necklace are pure silver, whereas sterling silver is 925 parts of 1000 pure silver. This indicates that this necklace was probably made somwhere on the continent in Europe. This is also marked VB for the maker, and is quite possibly an early Danish Denmark Scandanavian Jewelry Designer. Absolutely beautiful Necklace!
Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw.

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
