This is a Great 1950s Karatclad Heavy Gold Made in USA Medical Doctor Nurse Ballpoint Pen. I think this probably dates to the 1940's - 1960s time frame, but I could be a little off. Thus are marked Karatclad, Heavy Gold, Electroplate, Made in U.S.A. Great piece, and an American made pen at that!

Coin Silver is used a lot in the making of jewelry, especially Native American pieces. Coin Silver is 800 parts to 1000, ie 800/1000 pure silver, whereas Sterling Silver is 925 parts to 1000, ie 925/1000 pure silver.
